Colourful photo walk to The Box

Our ongoing Creative Connections programmes continued this week with Devon and Cornwall Refugee Support (DCRS) creative club participants enjoy a colour themed photo walk to The Box. The theme of the day was light and colour as we took inspiration from seeing artist Rana Begum‘s ‘Dappled Light’ exhibition which is currently on display in Plymouth.

Fotonow have worked with DCRS on partnership projects for for many years and we really appreciate how photography can be a unifying language in exploring the city and make photographs together. DCRS host a range of activities to help asylum seekers settle into Plymouth and improve physical and mental health while their claim is processed.

Our Creative Connections programme is funded by The Rank Foundation who have been supporting us to develop projects that reduce loneliness and isolation.
